Tarpon, also known as the Silver King, are a migratory fish that finds a spot on countless angler’s bucket list. Tarpon are caught most frequently from late April until late July. If you want to test your strength against the Silver King, you’re encouraged to plan your trip during this time! MM Charters nearshore fishing trips typically stay within a few miles of the shoreline. Captain Tim doesn’t need to travel far to take you to his local “honey holes”! On a nearshore fishing trip, you can expect to catch Kingfish, Grouper, Amberjack, Tripletail, Red Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Hammerhead Sharks, and more! Captain Tim Hermus will be at the helm for the duration of the trip. Safety is his number one priority, putting you and your crew on fish after fish is a close second! Captain Tim brings over 40 years of fishing experience on the water with him, he’s a lifelong angler with a passion for the outdoors. Veteran anglers and first timers alike are more than welcome aboard MM Charters. If this is going to be your first fishing trip, Captain Tim will have you fishing like a pro by the end of the trip! He’s a patient, knowledgeable teacher and great with kids. Your adventure starts when you step aboard Capt. Tim’s 25ft center console that was newly built in 2017. 6 anglers (not including Capt.
