Captain Andrew has been fishing these waters for years and knows all the best spots. He enjoys sharing his knowledge with anglers of all ages and has designed the trips for fisherman of all levels from the first-time angler to the seasoned pro.
You will be fishing from Captain Andrew’s 19ft Bass Boat. Powered by a 150HP engine and equipped with the latest navigation and safety gear including Fishfinder, GPS, Life Jackets and a CPR-Trained Crew, you will get to the fish quickly and safely.
North Country Fishing Charters provides all the essentials for a productive fishing charter. Your rods, reels, tackle, lures and fresh or live bait are included. You will need to provide a valid New York fishing license. During your time on the water, Captain Andrew will use a variety of proven techniques to put you on the fish such as light tackle, bottom fishing and drift fishing.
Captain Andrew and his crew offer full and half day trips out on the St Lawrence river and Black Lake. While out on the water you will be focusing on species from bluegill to bass and seasonal crappie trips. If winter fishing piques your interest, starting winter 2019-2020, they will be offering ice fishing trips. This is a family friendly charter and younger anglers are always welcome.
