The Oilfield Outkasts Charter team maintains a fleet of boats ready to take you out on the water to help you get a taste of this world-renowned fishery. Young families, vacationers, and expert anglers alike are welcome aboard for a personalized fishing trip.

Your state water fishing trip starts when you step aboard one of the three Oilfield Outkasts Charter state licensed center consoles. Each vessel is meticulously maintained and very similar, with no boat having a significant advantage over the other. The Revelry, No Mercy, and Standby are catamarans with twin engines that’ll have you cruising to the fishing grounds with haste. They’ve all been outfitted with top-notch fish finding electronics to give you every advantage while you’re out on the water!

Freeport is a year-round fishery, with different species experiencing their peak season at different times of the year. The Oilfield Outkasts Charter team has decades of combined local knowledge, they know where the bite is 365 days a year! If you came to Freeport with a certain species in mind, they’ll make every effort to put you on that fish. Throughout the year you can expect to hook up on King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Snapper, Cobia, Tripletail, Redfish, Black Drum, Seatrout, Blackfin Shark, Bonnethead Shark, and many more exciting species.

Be sure to bring a personal cooler, you’re going to need something to bring your fillets home in! All legal fish are heading back to the dock with you, the crew will be happy to clean your catch for you at no additional cost. To get ready for your fishing trip, please bring any drinks or snacks you’ll want while you’re out on the water (no glass bottles) as well as a valid TX fishing license. Gratuities are not included in the trip price, your first mate primarily works for tips so please take care of your crew!

Fishing out of Freeport, Texas, we will fish offshore for trophy Bull Redfish, Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, Shark, Sheepshead, state water Red Snapper (seasonal), Mahi Mahi and Ling on occasion, Trout, and more. You might also have an opportunity to catch Mangrove Snapper, Sand Trout, Sheepshead, Triggerfish, and Mahi Mahi on occasion. (all catch is seasonal). The captain will work hard to fill your cooler up with fresh fish for you to take home. All you need to bring is a valid fishing license with Red Drum tags, sunscreen, drinks/ snacks, and your favorite pair of sunglasses. This group rate will be for groups of 7 or more.
