Located in “America’s Finest City” you will find Pacific Bounty Sportfishing and Captain Jeff Tiglio. Captain Jeff has been fishing the waters of Southern California his entire life. He’s a tournament winning fisherman that will put in 110% when you and your guests are out on the water with him. This family man is passionate about the ocean and everything in it. He will use tools and resources to locate your desired species.

Captain Jeff helms a 25’ Pilot House. His vessel is powered by twin Yamaha engines with 200HP each getting you to the fishing grounds in no time! You will also find advanced electronics on board such as a GPS, fish finder, radar, and VHF radio. Your safety is a top priority for Captain Jeff as USCG approved safety gear is available should you need it. Outriggers and a live well for fresh bait are also on board. Creature comforts of home such as a bed and a toilet are available for you and the comfort of your guests. Captain Jeff welcomes children so don’t forget to include your family on your fishing trip with Pacific Bounty Sportfishing.

Pacific Bounty Sportfishing will supply you and your guests with fresh bait and lures as well as top of the line rods, reels, and tackle. You will need to bring a California fishing license or your Passport with you depending on the trip option you and your guests choose. You will also need to bring lunch, snacks, and drinks as well as sunblock and sunglasses. Additionally, a cooler will be needed for the fish you’re sure to be reeling in with Pacific Bounty Sportfishing but leave it in your vehicle until your trip is over.

We’ll be fishing a maximum of 5 miles off the beach. Depending on the season, you will be able to target a variety of fish, including Yellowtail, Calico Bass, and an assortment of Rockfish. You’re encouraged to bring snacks and plenty of water.

5 Hour Trip – Nearshore (AM)
Two for two on the Pacific Bounty! Last year was amazing and it was somehow topped this year! The Pacific Bounty is now a staple on our yearly San Diego vacations. The Pennant, the Beachcomber, the beach, the bay and now the Pacific Bounty make up a great vacation agenda! Captain Jeff gets you on the fish! HIGHLY recommended!

9 Hour Trip – Nearshore
My parents came into town from Washington for their anniversary and we surprised my dad with this trip! Jeff was SUCH a great captain! He was on time in the morning, had everything ready, we all piled in and were on our way to get bait and set out. He cruised out off shore for us to see if we could troll to get anything but no luck. It was so nice of him to do that! We stayed in the La Jolla area and were able to snag three bonitos and one decent size yellowtail. The seals kept stealing our bait or else we would have gotten way more! Or maybe we weren’t the best fishermen/women ☺️ Jeff was always on top of helping with our bait and anything we needed. He is a super nice guy and fun to be around! We will definitely plan a trip with him again soon! Thanks Jeff!

9 Hour Trip – Offshore
You will not be sorry for picking Pacific Bounty Sportfishing for your ocean fishing activity. Captain Jeff is a very friendly, knowledgeable ocean fisherman. He picked my son and I up and raced us 30 miles offshore while explaining how the day was going to work. He scans the ocean surface for fish and bird activity and can tell where blue fin feeding is already or about to happen. We followed a school of blue fin for a couple of hours, losing one to a snapped line before finally landing a beauty. This was our first time ocean fishing and Jeff was very helpful/patient with us in catching and landing that fish. My son is still tired and sore a day later from the fight of bring that tuna on-board, but can’t wait to do it again! Thanks Jeff for everything!
