You may also want to bring sunglasses, drinks, snacks, and motion sickness pills if this is your first time out, just to be safe.

We’ll be fishing the Offshore Waters of the Gulf of Mexico, which means you’ll have the chance to catch your fill of Red Snapper, Vermillion Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Lane Snapper, Triggerfish, Rockfish, Spanish Mackerel, Porgy and more! These fish put up a great fight and are sure to get your adrenaline pumping. The best part about catching these species is the fact that they’re delicious! You can only harvest Snapper when they’re in season, but Spanish Mackerel, Triggerfish, and others are just as tasty. You may want to bring a personal sized cooler to bring home the fish you’re about to catch!

The Vera Marie is a 70’ Saltwater fishing boat that is powered by a 1600 HP Detroit engine. It has all the necessary safety and navigation gear needed for a smooth trip, along with amenities such as a toilet, a cooler, a live well, and more. When you book a trip with us, the price also includes your fishing license, all of the Rods, Reels, and Terminal Tackle you’ll need, as well as Filleting your catch!

Captain David Dewberry runs a tight ship, and always puts your safety first. He has a CPR-Trained crew, as well as all the First-Aid Equipment necessary in the case of an emergency. He is great with families and loves sharing his knowledge with young anglers.
