For your fishing excursion Pelican Adventures provides top brands such as Shimano Tiagras, Penns, and Electrics depending on our targeted species. Your group will get to go bottom fishing for Snappers, Groupers, and Amberjacks, or trolling for pelagic species. We fish for Swordfish in 1200’ to 2000’ deep water; many times we catch Mahi Mahi and Tuna while waiting for a Swordfish bite.

Everything you need for a great day on the water is provided by Captain David and Crew, including your fishing license. You may want to bring food and drinks (no glass), as well as hat, sunscreen, and polarized sunglasses. Don’t forget to also bring your phone/camera to capture the memories!

Pelican Adventures and Captain David Dewberry run a tight ship and always puts your safety first. He has a CPR-Trained crew, as well as all the First-Aid Equipment necessary in the case of an emergency. He is great with families and loves sharing his knowledge with young anglers. Having over 18 years of experience as a Captain navigating the waters off of the coast of Destin, Florida, there is no one more qualified for the job!

The “Good Times” offers enough room for 6 guests. Children are welcome aboard; as are anglers of all skill level. Our Crew is happy to teach and instruct as needed. Pelican Adventures offers a variety of trips with the “Velocious” – from 6 hour trips to 12 hour trips. We are happy to accommodate your needs.
