Trips aboard the Good Time's are shared, meaning you will be fishing along with any other people who booked a trip at the same time. He has a CPR-Trained crew, as well as all the First-Aid Equipment necessary in the case of an emergency. He is great with families and loves sharing his knowledge with young anglers. Having over 18 years of experience as a Captain navigating the waters off of the coast of Destin, Florida, there is no one more qualified for the job! The Good Times is a 45’ Saltwater fishing boat that is powered by a 350 HP Detroit engine. It has all the necessary safety and navigation gear needed for a smooth trip, along with amenities such as a toilet, a cooler, a live well, and more. When you book a trip with us, the price also includes your fishing license, all of the Rods, Reels, and Terminal Tackle you’ll need, as well as Filleting your catch! You’ll be fishing with top of the line Rods and Reels, and bottom fishing will be the main technique. The first mates on board are more than willing to help you land the fish, and make sure that everyone is having a fun, safe trip! The mates primarily work for tips, so any gratuity is very much appreciated. You may also want to bring sunglasses, drinks, snacks, and motion sickness pills if this is your first time out, just to be safe. We’ll be fishing the Offshore Waters of the Gulf of Mexico, which means you’ll have the chance to catch your fill of Red Snapper, Vermillion Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Lane Snapper, Triggerfish, Rockfish, Spanish Mackerel, and more! These fish put up a great fight and are sure to get your adrenaline pumping. The best part about catching these species is the fact that they’re delicious! You can only harvest Snapper when they’re in season, but Spanish Mackerel, Triggerfish, and others are just as tasty.
