Captain Mark Garcy is the Head Captain and manager of the Reel 1 Up Fish & Dive Charters team. He holds a wide range of licenses including a USCG Captain’s license for vessels up to 100 tons, certified tow and rescue, current certifications in CPR and First Aid, Rescue Diver, and PADI Advanced Open Water. Needless to say, you’re in qualified, safe hands when you’re out on the water with Reel 1 Up Fish & Dive Charters. Captain Mark has carefully vetted every member of his team; rest assured no matter who’s at the helm during your trip you’ll be taken care of!
Fishing out of a refurbished 28ft Sportfisherman, Captain Mark Garcy is licensed to fish up to 6 anglers at once. The vessel is equipped with a GPS, Fishfinder, Radar, and an assortment of safety equipment. There’s also a Bluetooth Stereo and cooler aboard to keep the good vibes flowing! If you opt to spend the day diving the nearby reefs and wrecks, the spearfishing gear you’ll need will be provided.
On spearfishing excursions, either Captain Mark or his qualified First Mate will be in the water with you. You’ll be diving in search of Grouper, Hogfish, Mutton Snapper, Lobster, and more. If you choose to spend the day on an offshore charter sailing out of Naples, Ft. Myers, Bonita Springs, or Marco Island, we’ll use a variety of fishing techniques to target King Mackerel, Triple Tail, Cobia, Grouper, Spanish Mackerel, Yellowtail Snapper, Barracuda, and Mangrove Snapper, to name a few species.
All of the fishing equipment, tackle, and fishing licenses will be provided on your fishing trip with Reel 1 Up Fish & Dive Charters. Captain Mark Garcy and his team will also clean your catches at the end of the trip for no additional cost. Please take care of your First Mate at the end of the day, a 20% gratuity and 5% credit card fee will be added to all trips. Cash options are available via Venmo, Cash App or Zelle.
