Captain Tony Varano will be leading the way on your amazing fishing journey. A New Smyrna Beach native, Capt. Tony has over 25 years of experience running New Smyrna Beach fishing charters and fishing the area. He loves everything about the sport of fishing and enjoys sharing his passion with all of his guests. He is always happy to answer any questions you may have with him on your Florida deep sea fishing trip with him.

Our fishing charters start in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Depending on where the bite is hot, Capt. Tony may lead you to the nearby fishing grounds of Ponce Inlet, Wilbur-By-The-Sea, Edgewater, Bethune Beach, Port Orange, Daytona Beach, Eldora, and many other glorious locations along the central east coast of Florida.

Your trip with us will start the moment you step aboard Capt. Tony’s 42ft Sport Fisherman. This boat is perfect for New Smyrna Beach fishing charters! She is powered by twin Detroit engines with a combined horsepower of 1100HP. This beautiful nautical powerhouse has all the proper safety and navigational equipment for a successful day out on the water. She is fully rigged with a fighting chair, outriggers, downriggers, and a live baitwell making her a great fit for deep sea fishing. This vessel is spacious enough for you and 5 of your friends and family members to enjoy Florida deep sea fishing!

We offer a variety of New Smyrna Beach inshore and offshore fishing trips ranging from 3 hours to 8 hours. We can target specific species or just head out and seeing what’s biting. All of your trips with us include rods, reels, tackle, lures, bait, and a fishing license. We will clean and prepare any catch you are able to keep. Capt. Tony can teach you about an array of fishing techniques including bottom fishing, bow fishing, deep sea fishing, drift fishing, jigging, spinning, and trolling.

What we target on our New Smyrna Beach fishing charters is completely up to you! We can search the nearby bridges or inlet for species such as Redfish, Black Drum, Snook, and Snappers or we can bottom fish the nearshore reefs and see what bites. We also have special trips that specifically targets the beautiful Sailfish or Mahi Mahi.

Anyone looking for a perfect way to get the family away from the electronics, and off on the perfect adventure….Look no further, Captain Tony on the Reel Compulsive Fishing Charters, along with his amazing crew are absolutely amazing with any age and all levels of expertise. My wife and I took my nephew age 17, and our two boys ages 11, and 14 out for a great day going after sharks and anything else the sea was willing to share with us this December! Anyone looking for the ultimate bachelorette or bachelor party, what better way than spending it chasing down apex predators, or having some cool fishing content amongst your closest friends! Captain Tony did not disappoint
We had a great morning out in the Intercoastal Waterway. Captain Tony took us to a bunch of nice spots. All three of us in my family caught fish, and we went home with a solid, full bag of filets. We’ve never been out fishing before and Tony made it a great time…and this was on a day that we met a bunch of boats with people who hadn’t caught anything.

Friendly Captain
We booked a 4 hour fishing trip for 4 of us. Captain Tony was very friendly and helped with everything. We had little experience with fishing so he was patient with us. Learned a few things. He baited our hooks for us, removed the fish and occasional weeds. We Enjoyed the trip very much. Wish we would’ve caught more fish, but that’s unpredictable.. ( and maybe because we didn’t really have a lot of experience). Lol. Would definitely do it again. Thanks Tony!
