Captain Kevin is a full-time, professional, saltwater fishing guide ready to take your group of four out fishing the area bays and flats of Rockport, Aransas, and Corpus Christi, Texas. He is one of the best when it comes to fishing for trophy Speckled Trout and Red Fish.
Captain Kevin’s knowledge of these waters is unsurpassed. Whether you are a novice or experienced angler, like to fish with artificial or live bait, a large group, a family, or a small group of good friends, Kevin would love to spend the day on the water with you, any season of the year.
Specializing in light tackle fishing, climb aboard the 23 ft Bay Boat and get ready for a great day on the water! Trips are available for 4 hours or 7 hours – and we typically launch around 6am. Along with Speckled Trout and Red Fish, we also target Black Drum and Sheepshead. All ages are welcome aboard for a great day of flats fishing!
Reel McCoy Guide Service provides rods, reels, tackle, and bait. We’ll also clean and package your fish. Be sure to bring with you a valid Texas State Fishing License (available at most bait shops) with Saltwater Stamp; also bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a camera. You can also bring food and drink for the day in a 48qt cooler or smaller.

You’ll need to bring drinks (no glass bottles), snacks, weather appropriate clothing, sunglasses, sunscreen, etc.
Weather cancellations are at your Captain’s discretion, your safety is their number one priority! You will receive a refund for any weather cancellation, or you can choose to reschedule your trip for a different date.

On our 4 hour, half day trip, we will be fishing the area bays and flats using live or dead bait catching trout, red fish, and black drum. I run a 23 foot Haynie with a 250HP Mercury. A very smooth and dry boat with all of the latest and greatest accessories. We will always catch fish and have a fun time doing it! I look forward to spending a day on the water with you.
All you need to do is arrive at the designated meeting location and step on the boat. The only thing you need to bring is a small cooler with food and drink for the day. Suggested items to bring are a Texas fishing license, hat, sunscreen, sun glasses and camera.
