Rich Damianos is the Captain of Reel Rich Fishing and is happy to share his passion for fishing with your group! Up to five guests are welcome aboard for the half day (4 hour) or full day (8 hour) inshore/flats trip. We are able to accommodate 4 anglers for the 6hr Tarpon/Shark trip. Tarpon is such fun species to target – and is our most popular trip! If you’ve never experienced the thrill of hooking a Tarpon – book today to experience this amazing adrenaline rush!

Reel Rich Fishing runs a 25ft Center Console with 250HP Suzuki engine. Downriggers are fitted for best possible fishing experience. We are also equipped with GPS and FishFinder to locate the fish. The vessel has a T-Top for shade, and a cooler with plenty of space for your group to get lines in the water. The Nautic Star is loaded with all the fishing and comfort features to make your day one to remember!

On your next Punta Gorda fishing trip with Captain Rich he provides all bait and tackle and will have ice and water in the cooler. You’ll want to bring good polarized sunglasses, a hat or visor, sunscreen and snacks for the day. Be sure to bring a ziplock bag to keep your personables safe; and of course a camera to capture the memories!

Charlotte Harbor is a great place to fish: it’s protected from the gulf by barrier islands is more like being on a large lake than the ocean. We won’t be in 9-10ft swells like the ocean waters, but we may encounter some choppy seas on certain days. If you are sensitive to motion sickness, there are over-the-counter medicines to help any discomfort.

Children are welcome aboard Reel Rich Fishing! Those under six years old are required to wear a life vest at all times. Our family had an amazing day out on the water with Rich!. Multiple times my boys were catching fish at the same time. Can’t wait to do it again. HIghly recommend it!!! Rich was able to keep our lines baited and ready to go at all times that someone on our boat was catching a fish almost as soon as it hit the water. He was very helpful to my 14 yr old—giving him pointers etc—- Made his day!!!

Full Day Trip
Captain Rich did his best to keep us on fish all day. With some novice anglers in our group Rich did a great job teaching and continuously landing personal bests. We caught a mixed bag including a bunch of trout, redfish, snook, Spanish mackerel, amber jacks, catfish, and a pufferfish. We all had a great time and would highly recommend Captain Rich.

We had an excellent time and caught plenty of fish. I had my wife and 3 boys ages 3,6 and 9. My boys said that we can’t go with anyone else besides Capt. Rich! Great family fun. We will definitely book a charter with Reel Rich Fishing again.
