Captain David is a seasoned veteran when it comes to fishing. He owns and operates Reel Silver Charters out of Pulaski, New York. Captain David is a Master Captain and he’s been fishing Lake Ontario for over 30 years. He worked several years as a First Mate on several charter boats before starting his own charter business. Captain David makes sure you and your guests have an enjoyable fishing experience with Reel Silver Charters.

Captain David operates a 27’ Sport Fisherman powered by twin 300HP Yamaha engines. With a cruising speed of 25 knots you’ll get to the fishing grounds with ease. This impressive vessel is outfitted with downriggers and modern navigational equipment such as a GPS, as well as fish finding equipment. A cooler and USCG approved safety gear is also on board. In addition, Captain David’s boat has a toilet for your convenience. It gives Captain David great pleasure to take out families so bring your children along for what’s sure to be a fishing trip of a lifetime!

On your trip with Reel Silver Charters, Captain David supplies everything you need for a successful day on Lake Ontario. Top quality rods, reels, lures, and tackle won’t let you down when you’re reeling in your dream fish. Light tackle fishing and trolling are just a few of the techniques Capt. You and your guests will be targeting Brown Trout, Lake Trout, Walleye, Coho Salmon, Rainbow Trout, King Salmon, and Steelhead when you head out with Captain David. The First Mate will clean and bag your catch ensuring you don’t leave your fishing trip without the fruits of your labor!

I have been taking friends and family over to Reel Silver Charters for the past 5 years and every trip is just a wonderful experience. Let me say first that Captain Dave is one of the best captains i have had the pleasure of fishing with. Captain Dave wants you to catch fish and works his butt off to make sure you do. When i talk to other people in and around the Pulaski area they all say the same thing and that is, when nobody else is catching fish Captain Dave is. He has a very comfortable boat and it is set up to fish. All his equipment is top line and always kept in perfect working order. Trust me you won’t find a better captain to fish with. Book a trip you won’t regret it.

Full Day Trip
I have been fishing with Capt. Dave 1-3 times a year for probably 10 years. Sometimes for BIG browns, sometimes for salmon. I have limited out EVERY time. Lately I have been bringing friend’s kids with me as I enjoy watching the excitement they have, especially when they catch a fish that is so big they need to ask for help reeling it in. Some of these kids are pretty young/small. Capt Dave is very patient helping them and explaining what they need to do.
