Captain Jared Mong will be behind the helm during the course of your fishing trip. Capt. Mong is USCG licensed and insured. He grew up in the Tampa Bay area and has fished the local waters since he was a young boy. Capt. Jared knows the waters intimately and has tons of experience catching the different fish that call Tampa Bay home.
Your trip with Capt. Jared will begin in Bradenton and search the popular fishing grounds of Tampa, Anna Maria, Holmes Beach, Bradenton Beach, Longboat Key, Sarasota, Siesta Key, and many other wonderful locations on the central west coast of Florida in the Gulf of Mexico.
Your fishing journey with us begins the moment you hop aboard the stunning 29 ft Dusky that was crafted in 1987 and restored in 2015. She is powered by a set of 200hp Suzuki engines that can propel her to a cruising speed of 55 knots. You will find all of the proper safety and navigational equipment on board as well as a cabin and shaded area to give you a break from the sun in between catches. She can comfortably carry up to 6 passengers and have plenty of room to fish.
We offer 4, 6, and 8-hour inshore and offshore trips. All of our trips will provide you with high quality fishing gear along with lures and bait. A fishing license will be included before the trip and we will clean and prepare all of your catches after the trip. We practice a variety of fishing techniques including bottom fishing, deep sea fishing, drift fishing, handline fishing, jigging, trolling, and light tackle fishing.
You can expect to catch many of the exciting species Bradenton has to offer including Tarpon, Hogfish, Trout, Snapper, Grouper, Snook, Permit, Cobia, Redfish, Sharks, and many more! You will have the option to fish the reefs, wrecks, flats, inshore or head offshore. Captain Jared will help you decide which of the species to target based on where you head out to.
