Captain Marty Petza will be your guide on your trip with River Fishing Adventure. Captain Marty has over 34 years of fishing experience. He is a family man and a previous tournament angler. Capt. Marty is a published author and he has given numerous seminars at industry shows across the east coast. Captain Marty is a safe and courteous guide and he is very personable and easy to talk to so let him know if you have any questions while on your fishing trip. He is a wealth of knowledge throughout your trip with River Fishing Adventure ensuring you will have your rods bending!
On your trip with River Fishing Adventure, you and your guests will hop aboard a 22’ Center Console powered by a 200HP Yamaha XTR engine. This vessel is outfitted with a live well and a wireless trolling motor. A casting platform with enough room for up to 6 anglers and a cooler are also rigged out on Captain Marty’s boat. USCG approved safety gear in on board as well as modern electronics such as a GPS and a fish finder.
River Fishing Adventure will supply you with top of the line rods, reels, tackle, and lures. Live bait is also supplied. You and your guests will head to several North Georgia Rivers and Lakes on your fishing trip such as Etowah, Coosa, and Chattahoochee River and Lake Altoona, Carters Lake, Nottely Lake, and Lake Lanier. Captain Marty welcomes children and anglers of all skill level for a fun fishing adventure on the unspoiled waters of Georgia.
Your primary targets will be Blue Catfish, Gar, Striped Bass, Bluegill, Hybrid Striped Bass, Crappie, and Largemouth Bass. Conservation is the key to keeping healthy populations of these majestic sport fish for following generations to enjoy. Therefore, your fishing trip with River Fishing Adventure will be catch and release depending on the season. Make sure you bring your Georgia fishing license with you before your trip with Captain Marty. You’ll also need sunscreen, food, and snacks.
