Welcome to River Trek Guide Service. We are based in West Michigan and offer guided fishing trips on the Grand, Muskegon, and Pere Marquette Rivers. We utilize multiple techniques to target Salmon, Steelhead, Trout, Smallmouth & Largemouth Bass, Walleye, Northern Pike and Panfish. River Trek Guide Service is a full-service private guide service with all required licenses and insurance. It is our passion to be on the water and we look forward to sharing our years of fishing Western Michigan with you. Perfect for groups of three, River Trek Guide Service looks forward to fishing with you! Our guided fishing trips are on an 18ft Steelcraft jet boat designed for river use. We cater to both experienced and beginner anglers. Your group of three will fish comfortably aboard this safe and dry vessel. Captain Steve Camble pilots the fishing vessel to where the fish are, and is happy to instruct in any area that you need help. Bait and tackle are provided: we use quality gear including rods made by Lamiglas, GLoomis, and St. Croix. Reels are Penn, Shimano, and Abu Garcia. Please ask the Captain if you have any questions regarding what you’ll be fishing with, or fishing for, we’re happy to answer your questions. Also feel free to bring your own gear if you’d like. Four/Six/Eight hour trips are available. Captain Steve provides lunch on the 8-hour trip (sandwiches, chips, soda/water). You’ll want to bring a valid Michigan fishing license, proper clothing for the weather conditions, and a camera to record your catch!   • Weather cancellations are at your Captain’s discretion, your safety is their number one priority! You will receive a refund for any weather cancellation, or you can choose to reschedule your trip for a different date.

Capt. Steve was awesome and the trip was great! He absolutely knew what he was doing and was just super fun and helpful the entire trip. He managed to get us our limit when the everyone else we ran into wasn’t catching anything. Awesome time! Highly recommend!

Full Day Trip - Warmwater Species
Coming from Florida this was my first time coming to Michigan and my first time targeting one of my bucket list fish species, Small Mouth. Captain Steve Campbell gave me an unforgettable experience. I boated over 20 fish and felt like we laughed all day just chatting and telling stories. It was like fishing back home with a friend. I hope to get back together soon for another bucket list species, Walleye. Thanks Steve
