Captain Frank Houser is at the helm of the 23ft Stoner Fury – a highly popular and dependable skiff. Fishing the nearby bays of Rockport, Texas, we set out across the water effortlessly and can get to some skinny water that other boats can’t reach. The ride is smooth, dry, and above all: safe. Half Day Trip
The weather before the trip was awful and we weren’t sure we could fish this weekend. At the last minute the weather broke and it was a perfect day on the water! Frank took us around to try and get some on the boat, he tried hard to find hungry fish! My aunt and I loved that he moved to find fish but we didn’t feel rushed or pressured to hurry and move constantly. We ended up with 4 keepers but had so much fun catching all kinds and listening to great stories and advice!

OMG!!! What a great fishing trip!! We caught plenty of fish (mostly keepers) and Captain Frank kept us entertained with his stories. If possible, we will return next year (or sooner) for another trip with Frank.

Half Day Trip
Had a great time with Captain Frank. Fishing telling stories learning about the bay system and some of the history of RockPort . Saw lots of fish but with the cold water and low tides it was tough fishing. Captain Frank tried to talk me out of going today but I decided to go anyway even if we didn’t set any records there’s not a better way to spend New Year’s Day than fishing . Thanks Captain Frank !
