Located in Galveston, Texas, Rod Bending Charters is owned and operated by Captain Jason Woods. Capt. Jason started fishing the Gulf when he was a kid. As his passion grew, he decided to put that passion into a job that he loves. He’s been in business for fifteen years. Captain Jason takes great pride in providing once in a lifetime fishing adventures. He is a great teacher and loves having kids on board so bring your family for an adventurous day on the water with Rod Bending Charters.
Captain Jason helms a 30’ Center Console powered by dual 300HP Suzuki engines. His vessel is outfitted with the latest GPS and fishing finding electronics. His wheelchair accessible boat is also outfitted with USCG approved safety gear and live well for keeping our bait fresh. There’s a toilet on board for your comfort and convenience as well.
Rod Bending Charters and Captain Jason set you up for success on your trip with them. Top of the line rods, reels, tackle, and lures are supplied. Fresh bait is included as well. Captain Jason will also supply the fishing license for you and all of your guests.
Rod Bending Charters will take you offshore on the Galveston waters to target Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Red Snapper, Grouper, Amberjack, and Cobia as well as trophy fish such as Swordfish, Sailfish, and Wahoo. You’ll also head to the Galveston Jetty and Ship Channel in search of Jack Crevalle, Tarpon, Flounder, Spotted Seatrout, and Sheepshead. After your successful day on the water with Rod Bending Charters, the First Mate will clean and fillet your catch ensuring you don’t leave your exciting day on the water empty handed.
