Captain Justin McConnel will be behind the helm and helping you out during the course of your fishing adventure. Capt. Justin loves everything about fishing and being out on the water. He has many years of experience fishing in South Carolina and running Charleston fishing charters. Capt. Justin loves to meet new people and is always happy to pass along his fishing insight with you. He is great with kids and is very patient when it comes to their needs. You and your guests will be in very good hands with Capt. Justin leading the way.

Our fishing charters begin in Charleston, South Carolina. From there, Capt. Justin will take you to some of his favorite fishing spots. Depending on where the bite is hot, you may end up exploring the nearby fishing grounds of Mount Pleasant, Sullivan’s Island, Drum Island, Wando River, Cooper River, Ashley River, Stono River, Clark Sound, and many other exciting locations around Charleston.

Fishing will be done off of our stunning 22ft Sportsman center console. This boat makes Charleston fishing charters a dream come true! Her 150hp Yamaha V-Max engine will deliver us to all the fishing hotspots quickly and comfortably. She sports features such as power poles, a live baitwell, GPS, a cooler for your catches, a poling platform, fish finding technologies, and a wireless trolling motor. There is enough room on board for you and 5 of your close friends or family members to enjoy a day of fishing in South Carolina!

We offer 4, 6, and 8 hour fishing trips covering the inshore waters of Charleston, SC. We also offer a 2 hour Shark fishing trip for those looking to squeeze in a quick trip with vacation plans. Each trip includes rods, reels, tackle, lures, bait, and a fishing license. Any catch you are able to keep will be cut and filleted at the end of your trip with us at no extra charge.

Inshore fishing is one of the tops things to do in Charleston, and Captain Justin will make sure to put you right on top of the fish! Some of the species we love to chase after on our inshore Charleston fishing charters include Redfish, Spanish Mackerel, Spotted Seatrout, Flounder, Sheepshead, and Sharks.

Spring break fishing…could not of asked for a better fishing charter and Captain. Captain Justin was awesome from the start making sure everyone was catching fish and having fun! Very attentive and easy to be around, Captain J always made sure the lines were baited and in the water. When the fish stopped biting, lines were up and we were off to another spot to catch some more. Caught Reds, Sheep Heads and a trout…. Will definitely be booking again with Captain J when my other son gets home from college…!

We had a wonderful 4 hr trip with Capt Justin. We were a part of 6, some with and some without experience. Justin took us to his favorite hot spots. Red drum aka channel bass were hot and we all hooked and landed at least one fish. Weather in mid February was chilly and the wind was blowing but we had a memorable trip. Justin set up some pop cork rigs for trout in the afternoon but the trout refused to bite. Overall, a great and enjoyable trip, and I would highly recommend Capt Justin McConnell

3 Hour Shark Trip
The other day was our first time going deep sea fishing. And we went with captain Justin. And we had a blast! It’s our honeymoon and it was definitely an awesome experience. He’s a pretty chill guy and made the experience a lot more fun. He had all the equipment needed so we didn’t need to bring anything but snacks. He took us pretty far out to get the bait and then to catch redfish. The views were amazing and very picturesque. He made the trip fun with music and the conversation was just right. I caught my very first fish and it was a big one! And we caught several. No sharks though, but he still made the experience a much needed one. Next time we come back to Charleston we plan on only going fishing with captain Justin! If you’re looking for a fun and awesome fishing trip go with salty habit charters!
