The Salty Hooker is a 28-foot Grady White Sailfish 282. We are Coast Guard approved for 6 passengers plus crew. The Salty Hooker is powered with twin 200HP Yamaha outboards and cruises nicely at 20-25 knots. She is equipped with state of the art Lowrance Electronics to put you on the fish and keep you safe! There is plenty of space to sit and store your belongings. The lower cabin has a sitting area and table, an enclosed bathroom, and freshwater sinks.

Catch a huge Trophy Striped Bass/Rockfish! We live line eels in the lower Chesapeake Bay for these huge fish. Trophy Stripers weigh from 35-60lbs and measure 40-55+ inches. This is a catch and release season because the fish are well above the 20-31" slot that they must be in to keep. Any fish caught over 44" is eligible for a trophy citation/plaque from Virginia VMRC. We have an enclosed helm and cabin with a heater for cold days. Just bring some warm clothing, snacks, and drinks and you're ready to go!
