Sam fell in love with fishing and being out on the water and decided to start running guides so he could show others just how exciting fishing in South Florida can be. It is his goal to see all of his clients having tons of fun on all of his fishing trips.

Capt. Sam has a stunning 18ft Makee center console that makes fishing in Markham park a dream come true. This vessel is run off of a 115hp Mercury engine that allows for timely travel to and from all the fishing hotspots. She has plenty of room for 3 guests to fish at the same time. A fish finder will help locate pools of fish and there will be lots of room on this boat to cast out.

We offer full and half day trips that take place in the morning, afternoon, and evening. We will provide you with rods, reels, tackle, lures, and bait. Some of the fishing techniques that Capt. Sam practices include Jigging, Light Tackle, and Spinning. Fly Fishing equipment and children’s fishing rods can be provided upon request.

Markham park provides many opportunities for reeling in the hard-fighting and exotic species of South Florida. Fishing trips with Capt. Sam can see you chasing the likes of Largemouth Bass, Peacock Bass, Tarpon, and Snook. Our trips at first light and sundown provide the best times for reeling in these exciting species.
