Licensed, Insured, and Inspected by the United States Coast Guard, Captain Barry will make sure you have a fun, exciting, and safe day of fishing. You’ll be fishing aboard a 20ft Sport Fisherman with two engines: a 250HP Yamaha with a 8HP back-up. Our life vests and safety equipment are regularly updated and we have use the top brands of GPS and Fishfinder electronics. The casting platform helps with sight fishing, and we also have downriggers for trolling. No matter the technique, we’ll find the fish and hook ‘em with no trouble at all! Along with trolling, Schultz Sportfishing also offers bottom fishing, drift fishing, spinning, and jigging. You don’t need to be an expert or have any experience at all with these techniques, Capt. Barry will show you the way to handle the equipment. You’ll learn about presentations and line slack. You’ll learn the tricks of the trade and be able to fish on your own in no time at all! Schultz Sportfishing fishes the Lake Erie Eastern Basin near Buffalo, New York. There’s a great Walley, Perch and Smallmouth Bass fishery here, some of the best in the world! Smallmouth Bass is a very popular trip, but keep in mind that all Smallmouth Bass are catch-and-release. So be sure to bring those cameras to capture the memories, and then we’ll safely release the Bass to fight another day. May and June are peak months for Lake Erie Smallmouth Bass fishing. Lake Ontario and Niagra River are other great options. Schultz Sportfishing offers a Perch fishing charter, great for Spring or Fall trips. There’s some nice large size Yellow Perch available and waiting for your lure, and are just about as tasty as the Walleye. Walleye fishing is best from June to September and Capt. Barry does whatever it takes to load with boat with great Walley eating. We may drift livebait, bounce spinners off the bottom of the lake, or troll with planer boards or downriggers.
