Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Flounder, Tripletail, and Sheepshead are just some of the gamefish you’ll be filling your coolers with! All of the aforementioned species make for incredible table fare, and the Seahunter Adventures team will clean your catch for you at the end of the trip. Other exciting species you may also catch are Black Drum and Shark, both are notorious for their rod bending strength! You never know what you’ll find tugging on the other end of your line, but one thing is for sure, it’ll get your adrenaline pumping! East Galveston Bay is a year round fishery. No matter what time of the year you’re planning your fishing trip with Seahunter Adventures, Captain Marty will put you on the fish! He’s been fishing the Bay for years, helping young anglers catch their first fish is Capt. Marty’s favorite part about running professional charters. Marty runs a 21ft Seahunt bay boat powered by a 175hp Suzuki engine. There’s plenty of room on board to comfortably fish a maximum of 3 anglers, not including Capt. Marty. All you need to bring with you once your trip is booked is any drinks or snacks you may want, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a valid Texas Saltwater fishing license. They’re inexpensive, temporary licenses can easily be purchased online! Capt. Marty will provide your group with tournament quality rods and tackle, you may also be using live bait depending on the season.
