Guided by Captain Frank and his 20 plus years of experience with professional fishing, SkirtChaser Charters sails the waters of St. Petersburg, Tampa, Clearwater, Sarasota, and Largo, Florida. Captain Franks experience spans from New Jersey to the Bahamas. The last 9 years have been spent sharing ultimate fishing adventures with clients off the Gulf Coast.

Your trip takes place on the "Skirtchaser". She is a 2008 Yellowfin 36' that’s rigged with the latest twin 16" GARMIN electronics and powered by"brand new" triple 300hp Suzuki motors. This combo allows us to cruise to the fishing grounds in comfort allowing us to get to the best fishing spots quickly..we can cruise at 43 mph.!!. The Skirtchaser is licensed to carry 6 passengers for any charter experience.

You can rest assure the “Skirtchaser” comes with all the necessary safety and navigational equipment to make your trip a success. A first Mate will be on board to help you throughout the trip and we have a private bathroom for your use...

On our offshore adventures, we love to target Snapper, Grouper, King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Tuna, Wahoo, and Mahi Mahi. It all depends how far you want to go (which can be up to 150 miles offshore). Our nearshore trips(4 hr), which can go out up to 20 miles, mostly targets snapper, grunts, hogfish, mackerel, and groupers, depending on what’s biting. (6 hr) trips are 30 mi and target grouper and multiple snapper species...ALOT OF ACTION..!!

We had a great time on the half day trip….wish we would have booked an all day trip. Boat was excellent, equipment worked perfect and captain was very easy to work with and very knowledgeable about the area. Caught alot of different snappers and he cleaned them up for us to have for dinner a couple of nights. Will definitely go with Skirt Chasers again….next time all day trip.

Frank was so patient with my 7 yr old who screamed the whole ride out..but then had the greatest time as we caught a bunch of fish in a short amount of time…the boat is beautiful and capt hutchko handles everything! I highly recommend using frank on any fishing trip in the madeira Beach area. A++++++++ experience!! Go birds!!

The boat is beautiful. The captain was good. The price was pretty high for what we did. There wasn’t much live bait action but we still had a great time. Even caught a puffer fish and remora. If you are expecting to catch big fish this is not the trip to take. Still fun morning though.
