Welcome to So Flo Charters! Captain Eric Rodriguez looks forward to meeting each and every one of you! With almost a decade and a half of fishing in Biscayne Bay and the Everglades National Park, he knows exactly how to make your day on the water one to remember. You’ll start your adventure on an 17’ skiff that can take up to 2 anglers. It has a 70HP Yamaha engine and uses up to date fish finding and navigational technology. Captain Eric specializes in light tackle fishing and will have you going after Redfish, Snook, Ladyfish, Bonefish, Jacks, Permit, and Tarpon in the Everglades National Park. Captain Eric will take care of all the fishing equipment you’ll need including fly fishing gear, lures, and tackle. He also provides the fresh bait and the fishing licenses for all on board. Complimentary drinks are offered but you're welcome to bring your own. After your successful day on the water Captain Eric will clean and fillet any fish you're able to keep. 4-8 hours trip Back Country Fishing , for beginners to experts and family friendly . Following items are recommended for you to bring on your trip ; Sunblock, Hat, Long sleeves, mosquito repellent is a Must! Any snacks or drinks that you would like water will be included in your trip A Dry Bag for your personal items so they wont get wet. Driving Directions From Miami : Take the Florida Turnpike (Route 821) south until it ends merging with U.S. 1 at Florida City. Turn right at the first traffic light onto Palm Drive (State Road 9336/SW 344th St.) and follow the signs to the park. The Guy Bradley Visitor Center lies roughly 38 miles south of the park's main entrance. Visitors should expect to drive about one hour before arriving at Flamingo. The Flamingo Marina serves as a hub in the Flamingo area. During your visit, watch the waters from the dock to try and spot manatees and crocodiles. A food truck selling sandwiches, salads, and various other meals is located at the Flamingo Marina. It's open daily from 11 am to 5 pm between November 1 and April 30. From May 1 to May 31, it's open Wednesday through Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm.The Marina Store sells food, drinks, gifts, ice, firewood, camping supplies, bait & tackle (frozen), and more. Restrooms are open in the marina store. Hours are 7 am to 7 pm daily from November 1 to April 30. From May 1 to October 31, hours are 8 am to 6 pm daily.
