Captain Troy Nash runs South Louisiana Redfish Charters out of Cypremort Point, Louisiana. He has over 30 years of fishing experience. He’s a 3rd generation charter fishing guide. Captain Troy has guided fishing trips all over the world from the West Indies and Australia to the Florida Keys. Captain Troy he has been fishing since he was a little boy. After his time in the Armed Forces, Captain Troy began working on his father’s boat. Shortly after that he got his Captain’s license and the rest is history.
You’ll be fishing from a 22’ bay boat. Captain Troy’s boat is powered by a 250HP Yamaha engine. Captain Troy’s boat runs 3 times as far and twice as fast as other guided charters running a traditional flats boat, increasing your fishing time and range of areas you can fish in a day. His boat can accommodate up to 4 anglers comfortably. A live well for fresh bait is on board as well as power poles, USCG approved safety equipment, and modern electronics such as a GPS and a fish finder. Captain Troy welcomes anglers of all skill level on fishing trips with South Louisiana Redfish Charters.
Capt. Troy will provide you with all the rods, reels, and terminal tackle you’ll need for a fun day of fishing with South Louisiana Redfish Charters. Captain Troy offers inshore light tackle fishing trips and saltwater fly fishing trips on Vermilion Bay and Marsh Island. He provides all of the equipment for fly fishing trips. All you need to do is bring a valid fishing license and polarized sunglasses, as well as any drinks and snacks you’d like to have with you on your trip.
The sprawling marshes of Louisiana are teeming with fish throughout the year. This means that any time’s a good time to head out and target a number of different species.
