Your Virginia Beach fishing charter will take place aboard the Southern Belle, a 45ft Carolina build Ricky Scarborough sports fisherman complete with tuna tower and located at Fisherman’s Wharf marina “C” dock. The Belle is equipped with the latest navigation electronics and USCG required safety gear to ensure an enjoyable and safe day on the water.
Southern Belle Fishing Charters offers both inshore and offshore options for your Virginia Beach fishing charter. On your offshore fishing adventure, you will be targeting some of the top game fish such as Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna, and Mahi Mahi. If you’re more interested in staying closer to shore, your inshore fishing adventure will have you targeting species such as Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, Bluefish and Striped Bass - commonly known as Stripers or Rockfish in this area.
All charters come with everything you need for a successful trip including rods, reels, tackle, lures, fresh or live bait, and your fishing license. These are family friendly charters, especially the inshore trips, and children are welcome and encouraged to come on board.

This is a seasonal trip available OCTOBER through MARCH ONLY
For this trip we will travel for about 3 hours to get to depths of 1000 feet or more. Once there we will be fishing for Swordfish in the deep waters at the continental shelf. Electric eels are used and we will fish with lighted baits in the dark, deep waters where these monsters live. A fishing license and all gear are provided.

The mid-Atlantic waters and Gulf Stream make for some fantastic fishing off the coast of Virginia Beach. Here you will find some of the best Marling fishing - especially during August and September. Tasty Mahi-Mahi is regularly caught as well. During the Sommer you are able to fish for Big-Eye and Yellowfin Tuna, along with Wahoo and the occasional mako shark. A fishing license and all gear are provided. Children 8 years old and older are welcome for this trip.
