Join Captain Chris for a 1/2 day inshore fishing trip on the inshore flats of beautiful Steinhatchee, Fl. Species that can be caught include Redfish, Trout, Snook and Flounder. Of course there is always the occasional shark or catfish that may show up. When in season there are Cobia and Sheepshead. We use a mix of live and artificial baits. Captain Chris is proud member of the Captain's group at Steinhatchee Marina at Deadman's Bay and this is where your trip will begin and end. The Captain will provide the bait, water, ice and fishing licenses. You are welcome to bring snacks, drinks(adult), sunscreen etc. Boat will comfortably hold 5 but we've been known to carry up to 6.

Join Captain Chris for a fun filled day combing the grassy bottom for Scallops in the beautiful, unspoiled waters of famous Steinhatchee, Fl. 4 hour trips available either morning or afternoon, and can potentially accommodate a 6 hour trip. Morning trips leave the dock at 8am and return at Noon. Afternoon trips leave the dock at 1pm and return at 5. If you have any other special requests for times, send a note and we will see what we can do. Captain Chris will provide ice, water, fishing licenses( for 4). You can bring snacks, drinks(adult), sunscreen etc and please try to wear bright colored clothing so you are easy to spot in the water. Captain Chris recommends that you bring your own equipment but does have equipment for 4, in case someone should need it. You will board the boat from the docks at Steinhatchee Marina at Dead Man's Bay. Children are welcome as this is a great family fun activity!

Half Day Trip
Beautiful Day. Chris was on time and ready to go. Morning was slow although area fished looked good. Capt. Davy quickly reassessed, changed baits and location and we were on fish in no time. Six different species. Enough slot fish for a nice supper. As nice a person as you could meet. My wife with bad back issues was along and Chris navigated a smooth ride for her. Very positive experience and did not have a boat to clean. I highly recommend fishing with Chris Davy.
