Captain Sean Signore is the owner and operator of Southern Outdoor Sportsmen. By culminating over 25 years of experience, Captain Sean will give you and your guests a professional, safe, and entertaining trip. He enjoys teaching and helping fisherman in the sport of fishing in Tennessee’s pristine waters. Whether it's for a one-time adventure or to learn the tricks and tips of fishing, Captain Sean has the trip for you!

You will fish aboard Captain Sean’s 24’ bay boat originally built in 2022 with enough room for up to 4 guests. The vessel is powered by a 250HP Suzuki engine that is sure to get you to the fishing grounds in no time. You will find a GPS and a fish finder on board to help with locating productive spots and safety features including life jackets, flares, and a CPR-trained crew. The boat features a live well for fresh bait and a wireless trolling motor for sneaking up on your prey as well as power poles.

You and your guests will be supplied with top of the line rods, reels, tackle, and lures when you fish with Southern Outdoor Sportsmen. Captain Sean welcomes children and anglers of all skill level so grab your family and same snacks for the day and Captain Sean will take care of the rest.

Captain Sean will take you fishing in the inshore waters as well as the flats and backcountry of Tampa. There, you can target Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Tarpon, Cobia, Ladyfish, Sheepshead, Tripletail, Flounder, Mangrove Snapper, Snook, Jack Crevalle, Pompano, Sharks, Spanish Mackerel, and Tarpon. Southern Outdoor Sportsmen will have your buckets full on their Scalloping trip. You and your guests will use many different fishing techniques to get the fish biting including light tackle, bottom fishing, drift fishing, trolling, fly fishing, and spinning. After your bountiful day on the water, Captain Sean will clean and fillet your catch for you just in time for supper.

Trophy Catfishing Trip

Trip Details

We will fish for skipjack herring first if needed. This can be a lot of fun because of the fight skipjack will give you. We may even find a few hybrid bass and/or regular striped bass. I always have a rod ready for casting to the stripers. After we have caught bait we will proceed to the catfish holes to find the monsters. We may drift fish, sit or possibly troll depending on the time of year. 1-4 people total per charter. I supply all fishing gear, bottled water and ice in a cooler. Anyone 16 and older will need a license for the day and children under age 12 will need a comfortable life jacket.

River Fishing Trip

Anything goes on this charter. We can target every fish in the river (depending on availability/Time of year) accept Sturgeon. Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, White Bass, Striper, Walleye, Sauger, Catfish, Skipjack Herring and Panfish. This trip is designed to teach anglers how to fish the TN river. You might even teach me something new. It happens! 1-4 people max per charter. I supply all fishing gear, bottled water and ice in a cooler. Anyone 16 and older will need a license for the day and children under age 12 will need a comfortable life jacket.
