Unforgettable trip
What a day! Started with an inshore fishing tour with Rodney at Southern Summer Fishing Charters. It was awesome he took great care of us and we caught 30 fish. Marina caught the first fish, Merrick had the biggest fish, Ron had the most fish and I won the variety award for catching Red Drum, trout and sheephead. He took us out touring and we even saw dolphins (I love dolphins) with a baby dolphin up close to the boat, see the videos attached. Rodney worked so hard he was constantly putting bait on or netting a catch or measuring our fish and even taking our pix. He catered to our every need and even gave us girls the courage to bait our own hooks. We caught fish the whole 4 hour trip. Per his recommendation, we headed to Skull Creek boathouse and they cooked up our catch of red drum and trout. Talk about the freshest fish. Less and 2 hours from boat to table. We highly recommend Rodney. Thanks for an unforgettable trip.

Great trip with Captain Rodney
My 3 boys and I had an amazing time on Captain Rodney’s boat. Rodney was an amazing Captain who knew exactly where to fish. He took care of everything. All we needed to do was show up. He slowed down when other boats went by so we didn’t hit huge bumps. He knew a lot about fishing and made the day a relaxing day. I had some great conversations with him and my boys enjoyed everything second on his boat. They want me to book a trip every Sunday, haha. We caught a lot of fish and I would definitely recommend him to anyone. I plan on booking more trips in the future.

Excellent Captain
Captain Summers added the perfect punctuation to an amazing week in Hilton Head. Rodney was right on time to pick us up and knew exactly where to go to catch some very nice Red fish - great fish tacos! Not only is Rodney a excellent captain, but he is a genuinely nice guy as well! I will absolutely look up Southern Summers Charters the next time we travel to Hilton Head.
