Tail Chaser Fishing Charters launches from Marblehead, Ohio. We invite you to enjoy a day of Walleye or Perch fishing aboard the Tail Chaser around the Lake Erie Islands. Captain Mike specializes in trolling for Walleye or Perch fishing, and is able to accommodate up to six guests for full or half day trips.
Your vessel for the day is a beautiful, clean, and well-maintained 27' Sport Fisherman. It's powered by a 350HP Volve Penta engine and provides a safe, fast, and reliable transport to the fishing grounds. We track the fish down with top of the line GPS and Fishfinder electronics, and have an outrigger onboard for your fishing success. For you and your family's comfort, there is a toilet available onboard for your convenience.
Tail Chaser Fishing Charters provides all the fishing gear for your Lake Erie charter. This includes all rods and reels, tackle, lures and bait. No experience is required for your fishing adventure, Capt. Mike and the first mate are ready to help you every aspect: from baiting the hook to dehooking your catch. They work hard to make your trip a success!
Be sure that all anglers have a valid Ohio fishing license. These can be purchased online or from a local bait and tackle shop. Feel free to bring snacks and drinks, hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, and weather-appropriate clothing. Light jackets or hoodies is a great idea for those early morning temperatures. Of course don't forget your camera to capture the events of the day. Otherwise you'll just be telling fish stories!
The Lake Erie Island area is well-known throughout the world for Walleye fishing. Fishing is excellent from mid-April through November 1st.
