Anglers, Sportsmen/women and vacationers to Lake Texoma are welcome to join us at Texoma Striper Fishing Charters with Captain John Brett. Texoma Striper Fishing provides the best Lake Texoma striper fishing action; available for half day and full day trips.

Captain John pilots a 26’ center console originally built for the rough saltwater oceans. It is a very stable vessel and has deep sides; powered by an Yamaha 300 HP outboard which offers speed and stability. Your group will ride comfortably with a fast and dry ride to the fishing grounds. Downriggers and a livewell also improve the fishing experience. (Safety features also included: life jackets, flares, VHF Radio, etc. – we’re very safety conscious here at Texoma Striper Fishing!).

No need to bring anything with you on this Lake Texoma fishing trip except snacks and drinks – Captain John provides everything else! All fishing tackle, lures and bait. *You will need to bring your Texoma only fishing license – only $12 for the year.

We go drift fishing, trolling, and light tackle fishing for Stripers (Striped Bass). If you’ve never held a rod – don’t worry! Captain John is happy to teach you or give you a few pointers. Fishing Lake Texoma is a great way to spend the day on your family vacation, or stay-cation if you’re in the area!

Captain John fishes Lake Texoma 12 months of the year and has guided this beautiful lake for over 15 years. Teaching and watching people catch fish is as exciting for him as if he was catching himself! He’s a Coast Guard licensed captain; and licensed to guide in both Oklahoma and Texas. With over 40 years of boating experience there is no better fishing guide for your Lake Texoma fishing trip!

    You’ll need to bring drinks (no glass bottles), snacks, weather appropriate clothing, sunglasses, sunscreen, etc.

  • Weather cancellations are at your Captain’s discretion, your safety is their number one priority! You will receive a refund for any weather cancellation, or you can choose to reschedule your trip for a different date.

Trip Details

4 hours fishing for striped bass. Everyone over 16 must purchase a Lake Texoma Fishing License cost $12 for a year.

Half Day Trip - Striper (AM)
We had a Great fishing trip with Captain John! He is a serious fisherman, who despite a cold front blowing in and shutting the fish bite to almost nothing, constantly did everything he could to keep up on top of the fish! I also have a very bad back, and he expertly drove to boat to keep me from getting bounced around as much as possible! We are also planning a trip back as soon as possible! His Boat held us 4 fisherman and Captain John with ease, and was dry and stable even in some pretty decent whitecaps! We Thank him for all the work he did to make the trip a good one! Andy

Captain John, Is very professional and friendly, my wife and I throughly enjoyed our experience. Captain John knows the lake and how the fish run and I don’t think there is any guide out there that works any harder than he does to put fish on your hook. Thank John for a great time!
