Captain John pilots a 26’ center console originally built for the rough saltwater oceans. It is a very stable vessel and has deep sides; powered by an Yamaha 300 HP outboard which offers speed and stability. Your group will ride comfortably with a fast and dry ride to the fishing grounds. Downriggers and a livewell also improve the fishing experience. (Safety features also included: life jackets, flares, VHF Radio, etc. – we’re very safety conscious here at Texoma Striper Fishing!).
No need to bring anything with you on this Lake Texoma fishing trip except snacks and drinks – Captain John provides everything else! All fishing tackle, lures and bait. *You will need to bring your Texoma only fishing license – only $12 for the year.
We go drift fishing, trolling, and light tackle fishing for Stripers (Striped Bass). If you’ve never held a rod – don’t worry! Captain John is happy to teach you or give you a few pointers. Fishing Lake Texoma is a great way to spend the day on your family vacation, or stay-cation if you’re in the area!
Captain John fishes Lake Texoma 12 months of the year and has guided this beautiful lake for over 15 years. Teaching and watching people catch fish is as exciting for him as if he was catching himself! He’s a Coast Guard licensed captain; and licensed to guide in both Oklahoma and Texas. With over 40 years of boating experience there is no better fishing guide for your Lake Texoma fishing trip!
