Captain Mike helms a 26’ Cabin Cruiser powered by a 250Hp Honda engine. His vessel has plenty of speed and power to get you to the fishing grounds effectively. Captain Mike’s boat is designed to maximize your fishing effort. It’s outfitted with a casting platform with enough space for 6 anglers to fish at the same time, a live well for keeping your bait fresh is on board as well as downriggers and spearfishing equipment. Up to date electronics such as a GPS and fish finder are also on board. USCG approved safety gear and a CPR trained crew round out this wheelchair accessible boat. Ketchikan Salmon Fishing

We fish for Salmon trolling using downriggers. Generally we run no more than four rods while trolling. When the bite is really hot it's hard to keep more than two rods in the water! This method allows us to cover ground efficiently, locating Salmon at various depths with different presentations.

On the combo charter we focus on Halibut and Salmon fishing. The longer trip time allows us to run to the productive halibut grounds. While bottom fishing for halibut you also have the chance of catching rockfish, pacific cod, and ling cod. Each client holds their own rod and we vertical jig. If we get our limit of halibut we can also switch over and spend the rest of the trip salmon fishing.

The six hour trip time allows us to run to the productive Halibut grounds. While bottom fishing for Halibut you also have the chance of catching Rockfish, Pacific Cod, and Ling Cod.
