Tip O’Texas Guide Service is located in South Padre Island, Texas and is owned and operated by Billy Bough. Captain Billy Bough is a long time Texas angler who has fished fresh and saltwater all of his life. He has fished in many Bass tournaments in the area for numerous years as well. Captain Billy fulfilled his lifelong dream of opening a charter business 9 years ago and hasn’t looked back. This family friendly Captain is great with kids and enjoys seeing the look on their face when they hook their first fish so bring them along to experience all that the South Texas waters have to offer.
Captain Billy helms a 23.5’ Flats boat powered by a 200HP Yamaha engine. This vessel is fast and comfortable enough for 4 anglers. Captain Billy’s boat has USCG approved safety equipment on board as well as a GPS, fish finding electronics, a wireless trolling motor, a cooler, and a live well for fresh bait. Safety is Captain Billy’s number one goal as he is CPR certified as well.
