Highly recommend Top Predator Adventures for your fishing trip. Being our first time, we had questions. Cody was patient and answered them all. We had to reschedule our trip once due to illness, but the process was easy. Cody arrived ahead of time, so we were on the boat heading out even before our scheduled time. We caught several varieties of fish from a couple different spots, and took some time to find shark’s teeth on a couple beaches accessible only by boat (We found three, and Cody found five or six, which he graciously gave to us as souvenirs.
Funny but true: Once we got to the fishing spot, Cody showed me how and where to cast. Not five seconds after he cast, the bobber dipped and he snagged a trout! He let me have the fun of reeling it in.

Captain Cody was amazing! We had our 3 kids with us which we let to all of the catching (with Cody’s help). We chose this adventure on a whim due to a fishing project my oldest son has to do for his Agriculture class. Cody took his time to explain to my son why we were fishing where we were, how the tides worked, what kind of bait we used, the type of hook, etc. He even told my son to call him if he had anymore questions and he would be glad to answer them.
We also mentioned hunting sharks teeth when we first took off. Since it was currently low tide, he took us to an island and showed the kids how to spot them. My 5 year old daughter was struggling to spot them so he would find one, draw a circle around the area and she would look through the circle to find it. All 3 of my kids warmed right up to him! He was extremely good with them! We caught several shark and a stingray. Unfortunately didn’t get that red fish my oldest son really wanted. Just more of a reason to come back! We highly recommend choosing Cody as your Captain! We will definitely be booking with him again!

We don’t think this experience could have gone any better. We caught well over the amount expected and would recommend this experience to anyone. Captain Cody was very patient as we broke our lines multiple times and got hung up more than we would like to admit. He would have a pole ready to swap out with so we could continue fishing our hearts out. Thank you Captain Cody!
