For deep water, flats fishing and offshore adventures, Captain Davis uses a 25ft Hybrid Pathfinder. The Pathfinder can accommodate up to 6 people plus Captain Davis. All you need to bring is yourself and your desire for a memorable fishing adventure.
Weather permitting, the 25 Hybrid Pathfinder gets your group out to the offshore fishing grounds fast. Sailfish, Dolphin, Kingfish, Wahoo, Tuna, and more are just a short distance from the shore. Don’t let the size of the boat fool you: Big things come in small packages. When the seas pick up, we’re back fishing inshore in no time. This fishing vessel is perfect for both nearshore and offshore trips. With fishfinding electronics we get to the fish with no trouble. And with Captain Eric's expertise, you'll be sure to have a successful day on the water.
Vero Backcountry Fishing and Captain Eric T. Davis are known for the experience and knowledge they bring to each of their customers. Your crew will have a great time and learn something along the way; skill levels of all variety are welcome aboard! Half day trips (4 hours) and Full Day trips (8 hours) include everything you’ll need for a great day of fishing: Licenses, rods, reels, tackle, and bait. We’ll also clean and package your catch at the end of the trip.
Customers are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing (something you don’t mind getting dirty), and bring protection from the sun (including a hat or visor, sunscreen and sunglasses). Feel free to also bring food, drinks (beer is allowed), and your camera.
Vero Backcountry Fishing specializes in fishing the beautiful Indian River, Sebastian River and Atlantic Ocean. Gamefish in the intercoastal waterways include Snook, Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, and the Silver King himself: Tarpon. For the nearshore trips we do seasonal runs for Cobia, Tripletail, Flounder, Mackerel, and Pompano all caught on light spin and fly tackle.
