Captain Mike Grecco will be at the helm of the Westwind, a well maintained 30’ Sport Fisherman powered by a 330hp Cummins engine. Captain Mike has been fishing the Sandy Hook area for over 45 years. He has a team of hard working, experienced mates that will work their tails off for YOU to make sure your trip is one for the books. Capt. Mike loves sharing his passion with young anglers, he’s a patient teacher and is great with kids. Your trip cost for the day includes a fishing licenses for everyone on board, use of top of the line rods/reels, and bait. At the end of the trip, the Westwind Fishing Charter team will also clean and fillet your catch at no additional cost! The vessel is spacious enough to comfortably fish a maximum of 6 anglers. She’s decked out with a variety electronics to locate the fish, as well as comfort features such as a head (toilet) and salon to escape the elements.

We leave the dock at 6:30 am and usually return by 12:30 pm. If fishing is slow, we will fish longer to try to make a catch for you. If we are Striped bass fishing, we will either troll, live line, bait fish or jig. Bottom fishing for fluke, sea bass, porgies and black fish will have the appropriate baits supplies. All tackle and jigs required for the trip are provided. All you have to take is your food and drink. Your satisfaction is our only goal. Good fishing!!!
