Captain Josh Campbell has years of fishing experience and local knowledge. He can’t wait to welcome you on board and show you why these waters are so great to fish. Captain Josh and his team offer a half day trip and a full day trip. Wound Up Charters can accommodate up to 3 guests per trip. They welcome children of all ages to join in on the fun.
You’ll be fishing from a 22’ bay boat powered by a 200HP Yamaha engine. Captain Josh’s boat is outfitted with USCG approved safety gear and navigational equipment. There is also a fish finder on board, with the Captain Josh’s extensive knowledge of the area, both will keep you on top of the fish throughout your trip. There’s a wireless trolling motor that will give you that extra edge when stalking fish. His vessel is perfect for inshore fishing!
Top quality rods, reels, lures, and tackle are included in your trip with Wound Up Charters. The fishing license for you and all of your guests is also supplied. Captain Josh will guide you through the backcountry and inshore waters along the central west coast of Florida in search for your perfect bite using spinning and light tackle fishing.
Depending on the season and what’s biting, Captain Josh can take you fishing in different areas in and around the coastal waters of Florida. You’ll be able to target Cobia, Mangrove Snapper, Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Jack Crevalle, Permit, Snook, Ladyfish, Pompano, Spanish Mackerel, Tripletail, and the “Silver King”, Tarpon, Captain Josh will advise what’s best to go after on the trip.
