This unique take on fishing charters sets itself apart from other fishing trips because there is no boat needed to get to the fish. When you set out with Xtreme Off The Beach Charters there is no need to worry about getting seasick, or spending time traveling to the fishing spots. You’ll get to enjoy the beautiful beaches and stunning scenery of St George Island, all while Captain Richard teaches you how to shoreline fish like the pros.
Captain Richard is a life-long fisherman and enjoys sharing his knowledge with anglers of all ages and skill levels. He has come to appreciate the unique perks of shoreline fishing such as, it allows guests who struggle with sea sickness a chance to enjoy the thrill of casting off and reeling in the catch of the day. It is also great way for families to spend quality time while learning a new skill.
Xtreme Off The Beach Charters is a family-friendly charter and anglers of all ages are welcome. All trips are for groups of up to six anglers. Land-based fishing is a great way for families with younger anglers to experience some awesome fishing action – without the restrictions of boat charters. You get to cast off when you want, then explore the beach while you wait for a bite. When that bite comes, Captain Richard is right there to teach you the best tips and tricks to reel them in!
Just because you are casting from the beach doesn’t mean you compromise on the fish you will be targeting. Depending on the time of year, you could be targeting Permit, Redfish, Sheepshead, and even King Mackerel or Yellowfin Tuna, among others. Each trip includes your rods, reels, tackle and bait. All you need to bring is a valid Florida fishing license along with any snacks and drinks you would like. You can keep your catch, and Captain Richard will clean it for you.
If you are feeling a little more adventurous, you can join Captain Richard and battle Shark species such as Blacktip and Hammerhead. All Sharks are catch and release, so don’t forget your camera.
