Owned and Operated by Captain Vinnie Sacks, a Fort Lauderdale local with over 11 years of professional Captain experience. He’s been fishing and working on boats his whole life, needless to say he knows where the fish are. He’s great with first time anglers, kids, veteran anglers- you name it. He’ll work with you to make sure you’re comfortable with the techniques needed to land anything that bites your hook!

If you decide to book a half day trip, to make the most of our time we’ll mainly be bottom fishing/drift fishing over the abundance of reefs of the coast of Fort Lauderdale. The full day trips allow us the time needed to get to the fishing grounds a little further off the coast where we’ll be chasing the fish found in deeper waters. Sailfish and Tilefish are the two most popular targets for the longer trips, but Mahi Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, and Barracuda also aren’t strangers. On the reef trips, we’ll be landing Grouper, Amberjack, and a variety of Snapper including Yellowtail Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, and Mutton Snapper.

Charter boat YB Normal is a well kept 43ft Sportfish built in 1985. She’s received maintenance on a regular basis and she’s powered by a 400hp John Deere 9.5L Turbo engine. The vessel is fully equipped with all of the gear needed for a great day on the water. Air Conditioning is our most popular feature where you’ll be able to relax in the “Living room” of the boat in between bites or on your way to and from the fishing grounds. And of course, your trip price includes a First Mate, all Rods, Reels, and Tackle, Filleting the day’s catch, and a fishing license for everyone on board.
