We are federally licensed to fish any distance from shore, anywhere in the gulf! This allows us to travel beyond the 9 mile limits of state water so we can target the pelagic species, such as mahi, wahoo and billfish as well as larger class snapper and grouper to name a few.
We fish from a 36' Palmetto Custom 360 Center Console. She has duel 300HP motors, SIMRAD electronics, including radar and auto pilot. With an on-board bathroom and the Federal licenses, she's great for both a short trip close to the shore and a 12 hour trip to the FADS or oil rigs. We use Crowder rods outfitted with top of the line Shimano Reels, so when that 100lb Wahoo decides to bite, bringing him to the boat isn't a problem! Sunset Shark Extravaganza
We had the best charter trip with Captain Jay and Captain Curt in Orange Beach. These guys are so knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend them for your next fishing charter!
