Captain Darius Brown and his first mate Chris will be leading the way on your Charleston deep sea fishing charter. Capt. Darius has always had a great passion for fishing and being out on the water. He has been fishing since the age of 4 and has many years of experience fishing in South Carolina. He has fished the likes of the Chesapeake Bay in Virginia, down to Jacksonville, Florida, and even across the country to San Diego. Capt. Darius opened a fishing charter company so he could show others just how exciting Charleston fishing charters can be.

Your fishing charter journey with Capt. Darius will begin in Charleston, South Carolina. Depending on where the fish are biting, Capt. Darius may steer the boat towards nearby areas such as Mt. Pleasant, Morris Island, Folly Island, Kiawah island, Sullivan’s Island, Dewees Island, and many more breathtaking locations along the east coast of South Carolina in the Atlantic Ocean.

Capt. Darius has a beautiful 24ft Seafox 248 Commander center console that is perfect for South Carolina fishing charters. She is powered by a 250hp Yamaha V6 engine that will allow us to get to all the fishing hotspots in a very timely manner. She is spacious enough for you and 5 other guests to enjoy fishing. On deck, you will find a cooler, GPS, fishfinder, toilet, and all the latest safety equipment needed for a safe ride on the water.

We offer full and half day fishing trips covering the nearshore and offshore waters of Charleston. Each trip will provide you with all the fishing gear, lures, and bait needed to reel in many catches. A fishing license will be included at no extra charge and a first mate will be with us the entire time to help you out with anything you may need.

Charleston offers amazing fishing opportunities year-round, and Capt. Darius will have you taking full advantage of these opportunities. Some of the species we love to chase after include Amberjack, Grouper, Sea Bass, Triggerfish, Kingfish, Roosterfish, Sheepshead, Flounder, Redfish, and Tuna.

Trip Details

This nearshore fishing trip covers rods, reels, fishing licenses, water, snacks, and ice for the fish. Please wear soft sole shoes or flip-flops. As mentioned above, the crew will provide snacks for the trip but if you wish to bring lunch, please do so. There's a 65 qt cooler on board to keep your drinks and snacks cool for the trip. Please bring a cooler so you can take your catch home with you. You don't need to bring it on board if you don't wish to. Up to 6 guests can join the trip.

Half Day Trip

6:00am - 12:00pm EST (6 hours)

On this trip we will run out about 20-30 miles and bottom fish over live bottoms for Black Sea Bass, Triggerfish, Sheepshead, Red and Vermilion Snapper as well as Grouper. Depending on the season will depend on what we can kee

Trip Details

With a little more time for this trip we will venture 30-50 miles off the coast of South Carolina for a chance to hookup on mahi-mahi, billfish as well as do some bottom fishing.

This 10-hour deep sea fishing trip covers rods, reels, fishing licenses, water and snacks, and ice for the fish. Please wear soft sole shoes or flip-flops. Half Day Fishing Trip
Captain Darius had us catching fish on the first cast. He knows where the fish are. He let our group do the fishing from casting to landing the catch. Great equipment and knowledgeable. Just keep in mind you have clean your own catch. Great experience.

Captain Darius is excellent to be around, and his skills expand beyond the fishing trip as he provided much fishing knowledge of the Charleston area. Our fishing trip exceeded our expectations. We were engaged the whole time, catching fish “left and right. After the trip, we could not stop speaking about how fantastic the trip was. We cannot wait to go again.
