Captain Jacob Chapman is the owner and operator of Bayou Bandits Outfitters. He has over 30 years of fishing experience. He's passionate about fishing and loves showing all of his clients the art of fishing!
You’ll start your trip on a 24’ bay boat that has enough room for up to 5 guests. It's powered by a 250HP Yamaha engine that will quickly take you to the fishing grounds and it uses a GPS and fishfinder to help you locate fish. The vessel also has a wireless trolling motor as well as a cooler to store your snacks and drinks. Captain Jacob welcomes anglers of all skill level to fish with Bayou Bandits Outfitters.
You’ll go after Redfish, Black Drum, Spotted Seatrout, and Sheepshead. Captain Jacob will provide you and your guests with all the rods, reels, tackle, lures, and live bait needed for the trip, just make sure you bring a valid fishing license as well as any snacks and drinks for the day. After your trip with Bayou Bandits Outfitters, Captain Jacob will clean and fillet your fishing for you to take home and enjoy.

Half Day Trip
Capt Jacob was awesome. He had us on fish and with our limit before we knew it. Super helpful with baiting the hook and netting and removing fish. All we had to do was cast and catch. He even helped one of our group with tips to cast more accurately. I’m planning another charter in a couple months and will be coming back to Bayou Bandits.

Half Day Trip
Captain Jacob made my family’s day truly enjoyable! He treated us like family and we welcomed him to our family! We were also fortunate enough to catch some fish along the way! Half Day Trip
I didn’t know what to expect, but it was amazing. I almost cancelled because it was cold, windy and misting rain. Capt Jacob was friendly and made me feel comfortable. I haven’t fished in years, but he was so very patient with me and made my experience perfect. I was ill prepared and he loaned me a pair of over pants to help me stay warm. Perfect ending to an amazing trip to New Orleans. Thank You!!!! Thank You!!!! Thank You!!!!
