The vessel is fully rigged for big trophy fishing, including an extended livewell, top of the line electronics, and 300HP Suzuki outboard. With top GPS & Fishfinder technology the fish have a difficult time hiding. We’re prepped and ready for your deep sea fishing adventure. Benny’s Book a Mate & Fishing Charters runs out Hillsboro Inlet, just a few miles away from Ft. Lauderdale, Deerfield, Lighthouse Point, and Boca Raton. Anglers of all skill level are welcome, whether tournament ready or novice, Captain Benny will guide and instruct as needed. We fish the offshore reefs and wrecks and target Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Wahoo, Sailfish, and more. We usually use light tackle, but for sharks and swordfish we bulk up with heavier gear. Everything you need is provided by Captain Benny: your fishing license is included, and all tackle and gear is fitted your needs. As always we could hope for more and bigger fish. We could wish for our captain to some how work miraculous wonders as well as control the weather. Dream of catching a 200# tuna and mount that 500# sail fish on our wall but that’s just not real come on people. This guy was great from start to finish, easy to talk to and made us feel comfortable the whole time. He put us on fish the whole day just like he said he would and we brought plenty home for dinner then some! Like I said I wished for more and bigger fish but we did not leave disappointed, thank you Benny! I would recommend this to anyone in the area, this guy really knew his stuff! Didn’t get to just sit there and hold a rod though! . . . . . . Joke lol! It was pleasure Benny thank you!

Despite the terrible winds from the west we caught two amazing fish and the captain gave us the most amazing send off of my dad’s ashes at sea. He handled the day with a professional attitude and also kept the jokes coming. Best day and most memorable experience of our lives. 100% recommend

We went offshore with Captain Benny for a half day offshore fishing. I’m an experienced fisherman that goes charter fishing a lot. I would say that I have high standards, but fair expectations when it comes to writing reviews. Benny called me the day before and informed me the game plan, what’s biting/not biting, and weather. Our target species are Bonito/Sailfish and Benny clearly told me the day before that Mahi is the most likely outcome and he’s going to try his best to land our goal. So it comes the day and we started with vertical jigging, but unfortunately we didn’t get any significant bites. We then moved to trolling and in less than 30 mins we hooked up to 2 mahi, exactly like what Benny had expected. Throughout the trip, Benny is patient and explained all the questions we had. Benny is also very intelligent as well. I would definitely come back and fish with him again soon to land my first Sailfish/Bonito!
