The boat you’ll be fishing from is an Alweld aluminum custom built bowfishing boat with room for up to 4 guests. It runs on a 115 HP Yamaha engine and is equipped with GPS, fishfinder, and radio technology to ensure safe and quick reach to the fishing grounds. It’s also wheelchair-accessible, making it possible for everyone to enjoy a lovely day on the water.
You and the crew will be targeting Sheepshead, Stingray, Flounder, Black Drum, Mullet, Ladyfish, Jack Crevalle, Barracuda, Mojarra, Atlantic Spadefish, and many more. To attract your prey, you can use bow fishing, and Flounder gigging. Captain Kelly provides all the fishing equipment, licenses, and water. If you want, you may bring additional snacks and drinks. Bowfishing the waters of Tampa Bay under the lights at night is an exciting and challenging sport. Many nights we see Dolphins, Manatees and the occasional Sea Turtles. Experience fishing as never before with a bow in your hand and be ready to take fish home or to a local restaurant for a fresh fish dinner. We supply saltwater licenses, all equipment, will clean your fish and have a cooler on board ready for your refreshments.

My dad was visiting from CT and I wanted to take him out bowfishing. Found Captain Kelly - and I’m so glad I did. An outstanding evening! Plenty of shooting with multiple species. Captain Kelly and his first mate, Mike, were excellent. Extremely knowledgeable about the sport, the species, and the area - as well as being great guys. My dad has been bowfishing for over 40 years, and he said it was the best experience he’s ever had. I will definitely be booking with Captain Kelly again!
