He is great with kids and nothing makes him happier than getting the younger generations hooked on fishing. Our fishing charters start in Orange Beach, Alabama. Capt. Mike will have you exploring the nearby areas in search of fish. Some of the nearby areas you may end up cruising around include Cotton Bayou, Gilchrist Island, Perdido Pass, Bayou Saint John, Terry Cove, Robinson Island, Walker Island, and many other popular locations on the southern edge of Alabama.

Your fishing adventure begins the second you board our lovely 23ft Kenner center console. This boat makes Orange Beach fishing charters a breeze! Her 200hp Suzuki engine will get us to all the fishing spots steady and fast. She is rigged with a livewell, a cooler, GPS, all the required safety equipment, a wireless trolling motor, and all the latest fish finding technologies. This vessel is spacious enough for you and 3 of your close friends or family members to enjoy a day of South Alabama fishing!

We offer 4 hour trips and special summer Tarpon trips. Everything needed for a productive day of fishing is provided. This includes rods, reels, tackle, lures, bait, and fishing licenses. Capt. Mike will teach you about several techniques used to catch fish on his Orange Beach fishing charters such as bottom fishing, trolling, spinning, and drift fishing.

Inshore fishing in South Alabama provides many opportunities, and Capt. Mike will make sure you take full advantage of them! Some of the species we love to chase after on our Orange Beach fishing charters include Redfish, Sheepshead, Spotted Seatrout, Black Drum, and Flounder.

Capt. Mike put me and my beautiful bride on the fish today even though the conditions weren’t ideal… He was very knowledgeable and accommodating. We took some of our catch to the Wolf Bay restaurant (at Capt Mike’s suggestion) where they grilled and fried our sheepshead to perfection… Book with Capt Mike for a great day on the water!

I would highly recommend Captain Mike. My wife and I booked an afternoon trip and right from the start he had us on the fish. Captain Mike was a great teacher, a wonderful conversationalist, and just an overall good guy to be with. When the fishing slowed down he would quickly switch spots until we were right back in the action. All in all we caught a Florida limit of speckled trout and then ended the day pulling up mangrove snapper as fast as we could get lines in the water. If you’re looking for a great day of fishing for you and your family or friends, Captain Mike is the way to go.

Half Day Trip (AM)
Made a last minute trip with Cpt Mike and he was very accommodating and flexible with our plans. We drove almost 6 hours before our fishing trip and he was very flexible with our start time. Fishing wasn’t that great at the time, but he did his best to find the fish. We were only able to catch a few Sheep Head fishes, but we had fun doing it. He extended our four hour trip to close to an eight hour trip to make that happen. Thanks Mike, hoping to catch you on another fishing trip with better conditions.
