These waters are known for Tarpon, Redfish, Speckled Trout, Snook, Cobia, Black Grouper, Mangrove Snapper, Tripletail, Sheepshead, Pompano, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Spanish Mackerel, and more. For these species, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light tackle .Captain Kayden will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself. He also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear. You’re welcome to keep some of the fish you catch, so long as it’s legal. Catch cleaning is available, so you can take your fish home without any hassle. Had a great experience on this chartered trip. Grandkids were in town and they were looking for a “good fishing experience”. Kayden delivered on that in spades even in the heat of a Sarasota summer. Caught lots of keeper Mangrove Snapper that were well sized. Also angled in a few decent sized Snook and some baby Groupers that were released. As a bonus everyone got close looks at a Manatee and several Dolphins. The trip was never boring even for adolescents aged 13 and 9 years old. And… Here is the difference… Kayden truly cares about his customers experience. He worked in tail off making sure the kids lines were in the water baited and in the right places to catch fish. On a scale of 1-10 this experience gets a 10. We highly recommend it.
