Our goal is for you to experience a safe, thrilling, and productive day fishing in Alabama out on the water. We are family friendly and welcome anglers of all skill level to join us! Captain Doug Maines will be at the helm as you enjoy your guided inshore fishing trip. Capt. Doug is USCG Licensed and has spent many years running Orange Beach fishing charters. He has vast knowledge of the local waterways and the fish that swim them. He is always ready to share his insight and answer any questions you may have on trips with him. You will be in very good hands with Capt. Doug leading the way!

Alabama fishing charters with us will set sail out of Orange Beach. Depending on where the bite is hot, you and Capt. Doug could end up exploring the nearby waters of Caswell, Ono Island, Gulf Shores, Perdido Key, Perdido Beach, Josephine, Bayou Saint John, and many other wonderful locations near the coastal shores of Alabama.

Capt. Doug has a magnificent 31' center console that is perfect for fishing charters in Alabama. Her twin 300HP Yamaha engine will allow us to get to all the fishing hotspots quickly and comfortably. This fishing vessel comes equipped with GPS and fish finding technologies that will aid in finding the best places to fish in the area.

We offer many trip options covering the waters of Orange Beach. You will be provided with all the high-quality fishing gear, fresh bait, and lures needed for success out on the water. A fishing license will also be included in the cost of each trip. After the trip, we will clean and prepare any catches you are able to keep for you to take home or to a local restaurant for cooking options.

Alabama’s Gulf Shores are home to a wide variety of species. Some of the species we love to chase after are King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Sheepshead, Flounder, and Redfish. Capt. Doug will be happy to teach you about the different fishing techniques he uses to catch these fish such as bottom fishing, drift fishing, trolling, jigging, light tackle, and spinning.

After graciously rescheduling our trip to later in the week after a tropical storm came thru during our vacation, Capt. Doug worked harder than any guide I’ve hired to get my 2 daughters and I on our targeted fish. We covered more area in the bays around Gulf Shores than I had been to before and caught fish, just not the keepers we were after due to the post-storm waters. We stayed out longer than our booked 4 hour trip to keep looking and my girls loved it. Afterwords Capt. Doug would not except a tip because we didn’t have any fish to clean but deserved one after the effort he put out making sure we had a good time. Look forward to using him again on our next trip to the Gulf. Dave,Beth, and Amy Duty

Fishing doesn’t always mean reeling em in over and over. It was rough out there, evidenced by no guides catching anything. Doug put us on some fish and also kept us entertained. He was quick to rebait the hook, tie a new hook on and help with snags. The boat was immaculate and comfortable and I’d definitely recommend him.
