We are equipped to give you a fishing experience of a lifetime and will go the extra mile to ensure your success. Children and families are welcome, and we encourage anglers of all skill level to join us for a great day of Miami fishing.

Captain Leonardo Lombera will be in control of the helm on your South Florida fishing excursion. A Miami native, Capt. Leo has been fishing in Florida since he was a kid. He and his father spent many days fishing the Haulover Pier. It was during that time he developed a great passion for the sport of fishing and being outdoors. Years later, he decided to start running Miami fishing charters so he could share that passion with other anglers. Capt. Leo will use his knowledge and experience to lead you to the catch of your dreams.

Your South Florida fishing adventure with Captain Leo will start in Miami Beach, FL. The journey doesn’t have to stop there. Depending on where the bite is hot, you may end up exploring other nearby areas such as Fort Lauderdale, Government Cut, Bakers Haulover, Key Biscayne, and other locations in Biscayne Bay and along the Shores of Miami.

Fishing will be done aboard our beautiful 20ft SeaCraft center console that is powered by a Mercury 150hp engine. This vessel is perfect for Miami fishing charters as it is equipped with all the latest navigational and fish finding technologies. On deck, you’ll find a 100 gallon live well for keeping bait fresh and a cooler to keep your catches fresh. She is spacious enough for you and 2 other guests to enjoy fishing the splendid waters of South Florida.

We offer 4, 6, and 8-hour trips covering the inshore and nearshore waters of Miami. We also offer a special Tarpon trip where we specifically target the mighty “Silver King”. Your trip with us will include rods, reels, lures, bait, and fishing licenses. After the trip, we clean and package any catch you are able to keep.

Miami is full of fishing opportunities and the fish here do not disappoint! We mostly run inshore trips that target Jack Crevalle, Snook, Tarpon, Sharks, and more. For offshore species, we will not need to go far as they are only a few miles off the coast. Some of the nearshore/offshore species we love to chase after include Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, Tuna, and Kingfish.

Get up early and get the best bite in the morning. Captain Leo will cover your fishing equipment and licenses, so you only need to bring your food and drinks. You'll target various inshore species like Snook, Jack Crevalle, Redfish, and more! We may also go nearshore for Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, and Wahoo if the weather is good.

Tarpon Trip - 4 Hours

This trip will give you the best opportunity to catch the Silver King! They show up in high numbers throughout winter and spring, all the way until May. Once the mullet run starts, Tarpon will show up for the feast. Bring your food and drinks for the day, everything else is covered by Captain Leo.

Spend a great afternoon in the inshore waters and target Snook, Tarpon, Permit, Grouper, Jack Crevalle, and many more. It's a great opportunity to spend a day on the water with your family and learn something new. Kids ages 7 and above are welcome, you just need to bring life vests for them.

On a 6-hour trip, you can target Tarpon, Snook, Permit, Grouper, Jack Crevalle, and even Sharks. Captain Leo will cover your fishing equipment, lures, and a fishing license. We may go farther out nearshore for Sailfish, Wahoo, and Mahi Mahi if weather permits.

This 8 hour trip will provide plenty of time to go a few miles offshore and target big game fish, such as Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Wahoo, and more. This is weather dependent, so if the water gets too choppy, you'll move closer to the shore and target inshore species

3/4 Day Trip
Disclaimer: I like to paint the full picture so if you’re not one for reading and all you need to hear is that this charter is the best choice, then here you go! Look no further, Fetched Up Charters is the one for you! Now to the juice… Capt. Leo took me in and treated me as if I was his own mate while at the same time a student to his expertise. I’m emphasizing this because that type of cohesiveness between a captain and his mate, never mind a captain and his charter client (who he’s known for all of 10 minutes before leaving the dock!) is unheard of and something that will bring me back to Fetched Up Charters again and again. As an avid and lifelong fisherman, I have experienced many captains on boats of all sizes and I can tell you one thing. Capt. Leo has it dialed in. Don’t let the size of his boat fool you, with 2 rods off the kite and another 2-3 rods off the other side of the boat we were covering plenty of ground! It’s not the boat nor the rod that catches the fish, it’s the years of experience, trial and error, and if you’re a real angler, countless failures, that make someone a true fisherman. May 31, 2021, however, was no failure! While on a 3/4 day (6hr) afternoon charter, Capt. Leo carefully navigated myself and my (and she’ll kill me for saying this but) fishing novice girlfriend, through Haulover Inlet safely and smoothly, and after a 20 minute rip out to the fabled “numba’s” he had us both, lines tight, hooked up on some of the biggest blackfin tuna I’ve ever seen! All in all, we caught **hidden content**lb Tuna, (1) healthy Mahi Mahi, and oh yeah… an 80lb sailfish! My first sailfish! All I can say is what a day, a day that will go down in the books and that I hope to experience many many times again! Thank you Captain Leonardo for showing my girlfriend and I what South Florida fishing is all about and for giving both of us an experience we’ll never forget! If you made it this far, thanks for reading! Now stop overthinking and book the damn trip! You will not regret it! 3/4 Day Trip
Capt Lombera did a great job putting us on the fish. We started the morning drifting for Tarpon in Biscayne Bay. Which I had a distance release of one and brought a second in the 100 pound range to be leadered and released at boatside. We then went on to liveline pilchards at the various bridges along the intercoastal waterway having good success with Jack Crevalle. The trip ended working the jetties and open water beaches of North Miami where we did well on a school of large Jacks with multiple hook ups and releases. The Captain knows his water and worked to put us on the fish, his boat was equipped with excellent tackle and for a smaller boat it gave a smooth and comfortable ride. I would highly recommend this charter and would be happy to book with the Fetch Up again.

Tarpon Trip (PM)
Capt Leo is an awesome guy. Super nice, and very knowledgeable. He took my wife and I out on a tarpon trip last night for her birthday and our anniversary. We spent 5 min getting to our fishing location, and within another 5 min, we were hooked into a 120+ lb tarpon. I mean, you can’t get any better than that. 5 tarpon caught total. Best was well over 150 lbs. Massive fish… Took about an hr to get to the boat We’re beat up from the trip and couldn’t be happier. Highly recommended. Thanks Capt Leo.
