Get ready to head roughly 40mi offshore for Tuna Species, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, and Billfish including Blue and White Marlin. This is a bucketlist trip, be sure to bring your own food and drinks. Please leave the glass bottles and spray sunscreen at home! All fishing equipment, as well as a fishing license for everyone on board is included. Approximately 40 miles for tuna, magi and billfish

Full day offshore
The group that went on this trip are avid tuna fisherman that fish our own boat out of Delaware, where I met Captain Midgett last Summer while he was fishing the White Marlin Open. We catch our fair share of Yellowfin but never get a chance at the Giant Bluefin. When our season ended, I reached out to Captain Midgett about a Giant Bluefin trip, he gave me suggestions about dates based upon past catch data and I booked the trip 4 months in advance. Having seen the boat in person last Summer I already had a good idea of its capabilities. It is a big stable boat with a very soft ride in snotty seas, Carolina hull at its finest. The cockpit and salon are very large plenty of room to move around and the mate was excellent, although we did not get one of the Giants Captain Midgett and his mate fished hard till the very last minute. I am looking forward to our new annual Giant Bluefin charter next winter. This boat and crew are Outer Banks fishing at its finest, and as local as it gets. Tight Lines,

I was fortunate enough to be invited to take a trip on the Finstigator with Captain Kenny Midgett. I have been a mate for over 20 years, and actually was part of the crew that rebuilt this boat in early 2000. I tell you it runs, rides, and looks better than ever. She always brought up fish, and it was no different on this trip. Kenny put us in the meat before all the other boats even had their first bite, we were working on second giant. For fish of this caliber, you have to have top notch equipment, and was not disappointed with what I was given to work with. Both the captain and mate were pleasant, patient, and full of both knowledge, and fun stories. We were only allowed to keep one, but the fishing and fun never stopped. I found a nice warm place in the salon two curl up and get a little nap in, before getting back. All in all, a great day. I can’t wait from my next trip!!

First, the Finstigator is a beautiful boat. Spotless! Capt Kenny let me see the engine room, and it is IMMACULATE. Unbelievable! Like it’s never been driven. Boat is obviously extremely well cared for. There aren’t many charter boats like this anywhere. Second, Capt Kenny is the man! An incredible captain, you never go out on this boat without catching fish. Capt Kenny has been fishing these waters - and up and down the Carolina coasts - for something like 40 years I think he said, since he was a kid. New, top of the line fishing gear, boat always ready at the highest levels, very professional outfit, and also lots of fun with this boat, captain, and crew. HIGHLY recommended.
